Group Management

The Groups tab shows all Telegram groups and channels associated with your account.

Groups Table

Column	Description
Title	Name of the group or channel
Type	Group, Supergroup, or Channel
Members	Total member count
Role	Your permission level: Owner, Admin, or Member

Sorting

Sort groups by:

• Title (alphabetical)
• Member count
• Type
• Your role

Filtering

Filter by:

• Group type (Group, Supergroup, Channel)
• Your role (Owner, Admin, Member)

Understanding Roles

Role	Description
Owner	Created the group or received ownership transfer. Full control.
Admin	Has administrative permissions granted by the owner.
Member	Regular participant without special permissions.

Workspace Visibility

In a workspace, administrators can see which team members own which groups. This is useful for:

• Offboarding: Identifying groups that need ownership transfer when someone leaves
• Accountability: Knowing who controls important group chats
• Organization: Understanding your team’s group chat footprint

Requesting Ownership Transfers

Currently, ownership transfers must be done manually:

1. Identify the current owner in the Groups table
2. Contact them directly
3. They transfer ownership through Telegram’s native settings

Team Management

Review group ownership regularly, especially before team changes. Ensure important groups are owned by appropriate team members.
