Connect a Telegram account

Entergram’s connect dialog offers two methods. Both end up with your account safely connected and (on the Pro plan) analytics enabled automatically.

  1. Open Settings → Accounts → Connect account → QR tab
  2. Open Telegram Desktop or mobile → Settings → Devices → “Link Desktop Device”
  3. Scan the QR
  4. If you have 2FA enabled on Telegram, enter your Telegram password

The QR code refreshes every ~30 seconds. If you took too long, a new QR is generated automatically.

  1. Settings → Accounts → Connect account → Phone tab
  2. Enter your phone number (international format)
  3. Telegram sends a code (in the Telegram app if you’re signed in elsewhere, otherwise SMS)
  4. Enter the code
  5. Enter the 2FA password if enabled
  • Every account uses a pure server-side API session — there is no in-browser Telegram client. The Telegram connection lives on the backend; your browser talks to Entergram over a thin WebSocket layer.
  • Session credentials are stored encrypted on Entergram’s servers, never in your browser.
  • Reloading the page (or signing in from a new device) keeps your account connected — no need to redo QR or phone.
  • The phone number, code, and 2FA password are relayed through Entergram’s auth proxy; your browser never talks directly to Telegram.

On the Pro plan (and the 3-day Pro trial), analytics is wired up automatically when you connect a Telegram account — there is no separate connect-analytics step. The first sync starts immediately and runs in the background; the Analytics page shows a “Syncing” badge until it finishes.

On Basic, analytics isn’t included; upgrade from Settings → Plans (or buy a Pro workspace seat) to enable it.

  • 5 Telegram accounts per seat by default
  • Buy the Extra Telegram accounts add-on to connect more in the same seat (+€5/month each)
  • The Accounts page shows what’s giving you your current limit (plan default, seat add-on, personal add-on, or admin override)

“Disconnect” removes Entergram’s access from that account. The server revokes the session. You can reconnect later at any time.

If Telegram invalidates the session — usually because the same account was logged in elsewhere, or because Telegram moved your account to a different region — a yellow banner appears with a Reconnect button. Click it to redo the QR or phone flow.
