How to Connect Telegram Analytics

Connecting your Telegram account to Entergram’s Analytics feature is a quick, secure process that enables comprehensive data tracking on your communication patterns, response performance, and chat activity.

With Analytics connected, you’ll gain access to:

  • Response Time Metrics – See how fast you and your team respond to messages
  • Heatmaps – Visualize when you’re most active on Telegram
  • Message Volume Tracking – Monitor conversation trends over time
  • Team SLAs – Track team performance against service level agreements
  • Deleted Message Tracking – See patterns in edited/deleted messages
  • Reply Ratios – Understand engagement rates across conversations
  • Team Leaderboards – Compare performance across team members

Follow these simple steps to start receiving detailed insights into your Telegram usage:

  1. Open the Entergram application.
  2. Navigate to the Settings Page.
  1. Within the Accounts section of the Settings Page, find and click the “Connect Analytics” button.
  2. This will prompt you to authorize a new connection.
How to connect Telegram to a CRM

Note: If you haven’t already connected your CRM account, you’ll need to do that first before enabling Analytics. See the complete connection guide →

To ensure security, a verification code will be sent directly to your connected Telegram account:

  1. Check your Telegram application for a new message containing a 5-digit verification code.
  2. Return to the Entergram platform and enter the 5-digit code into the provided field on the Connect Analytics screen.

Once the code is successfully entered:

  • Your Telegram account will be securely connected to Entergram’s analytics system.
  • Data synchronization will begin immediately.
  • Your Analytics Page will start populating with real-time metrics and charts.

Data Security & Privacy

This process uses a one-time verification code sent directly through Telegram to ensure that only you can authorize the connection. We do not store your Telegram password. Your analytics session is stored securely on our servers (encrypted at rest) to enable heavy calculations that Telegram’s API cannot handle client-side. Messages are never read by Entergram – we only process metadata like timestamps, sender/receiver info, and message counts.

🛡️ Why Analytics Requires a Separate Connection

Section titled “🛡️ Why Analytics Requires a Separate Connection”

To deliver powerful, real-time analytics, we use a dedicated server-side connection. This architecture is deliberate: without it, complex calculations like heatmaps, reply ratios, deleted-message tracking, and team leaderboards would not be possible due to Telegram’s API limitations.

Connection TypeWhat It PowersWhere It’s Stored
CRM ConnectionCore features: chat, broadcasting, labels, ticketsYour browser only (local storage)
Analytics ConnectionDeep insights: heatmaps, response time, team metricsSecurely on our servers (encrypted)

Think of it like managing crypto keys:

  • Your CRM connection is like a wallet you control 100%
  • Your Analytics connection is like trusting a secure custodian to unlock advanced features
  • The Analytics connection can be revoked anytime from your Telegram sessions settings.
  • Your CRM features will continue working normally even if Analytics is disconnected.
  • You choose: maximum privacy (CRM only) or maximum insights (CRM + Analytics).

Ready to unlock the brutal truth about your Telegram performance?

  1. Complete the Analytics connection (takes 30 seconds)
  2. Wait a few moments for data synchronization
  3. Navigate to the Analytics Page to see your insights

This connection is available from our WebApp or directly from Telegram.

Most power users enable Analytics to optimize their response times, identify peak activity hours, and track team performance—all while maintaining full control over their data.

Q: Can I use Entergram without Analytics?
Yes! Your CRM features work independently. Analytics is optional but recommended for teams and power users.

Q: What data do you collect?
We process metadata only: timestamps, sender/receiver info, message counts, read receipts, and similar metrics. We never read message content.

Q: How do I revoke the Analytics connection?
Go to your Telegram app → Settings → Devices → Active Sessions, and remove the Entergram Analytics session. Your CRM features remain unaffected.

Q: How long does data sync take?
Initial synchronization typically completes within a few minutes. Real-time data appears immediately after that.

Q: Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Analytics sessions are encrypted at rest on our servers and transmitted over secure connections.

After connecting Analytics, explore these features:

  • Analytics Dashboard – View your overall performance metrics
  • Team Reports – Compare performance across team members (if applicable)
  • Custom Date Ranges – Filter insights by specific time periods
  • Export Data – Download your metrics for external analysis
